The NMIT Library currently holds a number of books written by Writing and Publishing lecturers . Karen Simpson Nikakis's Nira Chronicles Novels 1, 2 and 3, and Sigi Jottkandt's two books - Acting Beautifully: Henry James and the Ethical Aesthetic and First Love: a Phenomenology of the One are all available for loan, just click on the title to go directly to the catalogue to place a reservation.

The library holds copies of InScribe, Cursive Scripts and InFusion which are produced by and contain NMIT Writing students' work.  The library also holds a copy of Book of Lost Threads by Tess Evans who recently completed the diploma in Writing and Editing at NMIT.

Student email Accounts Upgrades

Student email accounts are being upgraded from 13th December to 20th December.

If you have used the student portal in 2010 you will be able to access your account but not change your details. You will not be able to reset your password during this period.

If you have not used the student portal at all this year you will not be able to login for the first time during the upgrade period.

If you have not used the MyPC Booking system or the student access PCs you will not be able to use either system for the first time during the upgrade. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Library Half Day Closures

All NMIT Campus Libraries will be closing at 1.00 pm on Friday the 17th of December. Library staff will be attending the final all staff meeting for 2010.
