Need to use a DVD in your class?

ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) is no longer operating as a lending library.

But don't worry; if a DVD or video you want to use in your class is not available on the NMIT library catalogue, there are alternatives:

  • Ask library staff for an inter-library loan (ILL) from another library
  • Suggest your faculty librarian buy the DVD for NMIT library, or
  • Borrow in person from another tertiary library using a CAVAL card

Just ask library staff if you need help..

In text referencing and a Reference list helps you avoid plagiarism, verify the information you are using and allows others to follow up on that information.

What is Plagiarism and how can you avoid it?

Read the NMIT guides here to keep out of trouble.

April 22 -26, 2013  is  Plagiarism Education week. Read more at the website.
