New Look A to Z E-Journals

Are you looking for e-journals to complete that elusive essay? NMIT library offers a large range of e-journals via the Online Library Catalogue. Click on the link A to Z Resource from the Navigation panel on the left and find full text e-journals.

Local writing at Fairfield Library

Fairfield Campus Library has a great range of writing from Melbourne and Australia, including poetry, literary journals, short stories and novels.  Some of the titles available include:

 

·       60 Classic Australian Poems, published by UNSW Press,

·       Swallow by Claire Potter,

·       New and Rediscovered by Vicki Viidikas, and

·       Etchings Indigenous - a collection of indigenous stories, poetry, art and reviews.

 

More titles like these are on display on the ground floor, and all are available to borrow.

Sibelius resources

Music students, need help with Sibelius?
Fairfield library has books that can guide and assist you with the program. These include the following titles:

• Sibelius 6 reference 6th ed, by Daniel Spreadbury, Benn Finn & Jonathan Finn, 2009


• Mastering Sibelius 6, by Gabriel Cobas, 2010

These books can be borrowed. If you're unsure how to find them, please ask any of the library staff.

Print Software Upgrade

Printing will be unavailable between 4 pm to 5 pm this Friday, 12 August, on all Xerox printer/copiers and student printing in all the NMIT libraries, due to a planned software upgrade.
