Gotham City, Botany Bay, and a recording studio in Jamaica. What do these three locations have in common? Well, they are some of the places that come to mind when looking at the substantial display of new illustration books at Fairfield Library. One features artwork from the Batman comic's history, one looks at the sketchbook of Governor Hunter, who arrived with the First Fleet in 1788, and one has record covers from the legendary reggae label Studio One Records.
And that's not all. Fine art, fashion, rock music, graphic fiction, science: we have them covered. Be the first to take one of these gorgeous books home. There is also a book with a mysterious yellow creature on the cover. Some say rabbit, some say bird. See if you can find it.
